OKG (ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate)
Ornithine α-Ketoglutarate (OKG) is a form of α-Ketoglutarate
OKG is made of 2 molecules of Ornithine and 1 molecule of α-Ketoglutarate (AKG) which may support metabolic benefits better than its two components given separately.
Ornithine is an amino acid that plays a role in the urea cycle, and α-Ketoglutarate is a key molecule involved in the Krebs cycle, the main source of energy of our cells, and supports protein and lipid metabolism pathways.
Containing OKG
Msc¹ Tone Muscular System
Msc¹ Tone contains a proprietary blend of HMB, OKG and BHB to support muscle tone, fat metabolism in cells and ketosis.
The Msc¹ formulation also provides a source of exogeneous ketones which support the body’s ability to metabolise fat as a source of energy.
