OKG is made of 2 molecules of Ornithine and 1 molecule of α-Ketoglutarate (AKG) which may support metabolic benefits better than its two components given separately.
Ornithine is an amino acid that plays a role in the urea cycle, and α-Ketoglutarate is a key molecule involved in the Krebs cycle, the main source of energy of our cells, and supports protein and lipid metabolism pathways.
